We, the Gartenland Group, offer our customers a broad, high-quality portfolio of brands and an extensive range of services. Our strong brands enjoy a very high level of recognition and consumer acceptance.

Close cooperation with traditional breeders and regional seed producers enables us to ensure the continuous development of new and forward-looking products while preserving well-established traditional varieties. As a registered maintenance breeder of 67 species and varieties - including the Harzfeuer and Harzgut tomatoes and the Libelle cucumber - we are responsible for preserving their characteristic varietal traits. In cooperation with regional and supraregional farmers, we produce seed that is quality-tested and filled into seed packets directly after harvesting, thereby completing the cycle.

Seed samples are taken for analyses covering germination, purity, moisture and pesticide residues. All quality tests are certified and performed in the independent Quality Seed Testing Laboratory in Gatersleben. Operated by the Gartenland Group since 2012, the laboratory is a member of ISTA, the International Seed Testing Association.

To maintain consistently high quality, our products are also regularly tested by independent institutes.
